Any idea who the Habs may trade for?

Petry? Any other D?

Which forwards? Bozak maybe?

Nice blog EE!

I still think that Bergevin will bolster the blue line. Targeting a guy like Yandle who has 1 year left on his deal might be worth considering.

I found it interesting that although PAP was cleared, Therrien sat him. I thought that bringing him back against Toronto, a non playoff team in tank mode, would be a good way to reinsert him in the lineup.

Edit: 87 points at the end of February. No one would believe this would happen back at the beginning of the season.

Bozak?? Are you serious?

Bergevin sure is looking for a hockey trade with the likes of O'Reilly but i think he will end up with Glencross and i'm fine with it.

Yandle would be a great pickup but Maloney seems to ask for a king ransom but MB doesn't seem to be willing to give up a first plus prospect and no way we trade Beaulieu.

Bozak is a good hockey trade. O'Reilly would be a trade deadline rental since his contract is up this year.

Bozak's signed at a cap-friendly deal for a few more years at 4.25 mil. He's a below-average 1st liner in the league everyone can agree on that. But on your 2nd/3rd line I think he would be good.

A first rounder would definitely need to be involved, and a prospect and maybe more.

On a side note, Eller looked terrible last night. Not trying to pile it on but he seems to have hit the bottom of the barrel.

Is Glencross better than a guy like DSP? They could use another top 6 forward, but I don't know if Glencross is one.

DSP isn't a top6 yet. Glencross is a former 25 goals scorer and a good two way forward he could fit well with Galchenyuk and Plekanec i believe.

I don't see Bozak as an improvement to Plekanec and i don't see the point of grabbing him for 3rd line duties, i really don't.

I thought RoR and one more year left.

Eller, PAP, 2nd, Fuccale, Tinordi and Andrighetto seem to be MB trade baits...

Yep Edmonton needs a decent goalie. Fucale may end up there.
